FOUNTAIN OF DIVINE MERCY

POLAND & GERMANY · APRIL 15–30, 2027

There are journeys we take with our feet, and others that begin in the heart. Fountain of Divine Mercy will be a pilgrimage designed to help us reconnect with God, strengthen our faith, and discover that there is always an opportunity to begin again.

Spiritually accompanied by Father José Manuel De Freitas, we will journey through Poland following in the footsteps of St. John Paul II, St. Faustina Kowalska, and St. Maximilian Kolbe, experiencing meaningful moments in Czestochowa, Wadowice, and the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki. We will then continue to Germany to encounter the Marian spirituality of Schoenstatt and some of the most significant sites of Europe’s Christian heritage.

It will be a journey to pray, heal, give thanks, and trust, embracing a phrase that will accompany us throughout the pilgrimage:

“Jesus, I trust in You.”

DAY 1 · THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 2027

BOGOTÁ – FRANKFURT

We will meet at Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport to begin our Fountain of Divine Mercy Pilgrimage, a faith-filled experience that will take us through lands deeply marked by holiness, self-giving, forgiveness, and trust in God.

After completing check-in, baggage drop-off, immigration, and boarding procedures, we will board our international flight to Frankfurt, Germany.

DAY 2 · FRIDAY, APRIL 16, 2027

FRANKFURT – WARSAW

Arrival in Europe and connection to Poland.

Arrival at Frankfurt Airport at 5:10 p.m. In Frankfurt, we will complete our international connection and immigration procedures to enter the Schengen Area. Each pilgrim should therefore have readily available their valid passport, return ticket, international travel medical assistance documents, travel itinerary, and accommodation confirmations.

We will then board our Frankfurt – Warsaw flight, departing at 8:40 p.m. and arriving at 10:20 p.m., with an approximate flight time of 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Upon arrival in Warsaw, we will collect our luggage and transfer to the hotel for check-in and rest.

Spiritually, this day marks our arrival in a deeply blessed land: Poland, home of St. John Paul II, St. Faustina Kowalska, and St. Maximilian Kolbe. We arrive with the natural tiredness of the journey, yet with hearts ready to begin a pilgrimage where every place will remind us that God’s mercy heals, lifts us up, and transforms us.

DAY 3 · SATURDAY, APRIL 17, 2027

WARSAW – NIEPOKALANÓW – WARSAW

St. Maximilian Kolbe: Love to the Utmost

After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our sightseeing tour of Warsaw, a city marked by history, faith, and the strength of a people who learned to rise again after suffering.

We will visit Lazienkowski Park, home to the Chopin Monument; the former Warsaw Ghetto; the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; and the Umschlagplatz, a memorial site associated with deportations during the German occupation.

We will continue to the Palace of Culture and Science, Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, Warsaw’s Old Town with an exterior view of the Royal Castle, St. John’s Cathedral, and the Market Square, an area listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Later, we will visit the Church of St. Stanislaus Kostka, where the tomb of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko is located, a priest and martyr who was murdered during the communist regime.

We will then depart for Niepokalanów to visit the shrine where St. Maximilian Kolbe lived. Holy Mass will be celebrated, subject to availability.

Return to Warsaw. Dinner and overnight accommodation.

Spiritually, this day invites us to contemplate mercy through memory, courage, and self-giving. Warsaw will speak to us of historical wounds, but also of rebuilding and hope.

In Niepokalanów, St. Maximilian Kolbe will remind us that true love does not remain only in words: it gives itself, serves, and offers its life. It will be a day to ask God for a freer, more courageous heart, ready to love even in the midst of trials.

DAY 4 · SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 2027

WARSAW – WILANÓW – WARSAW

Faith That Endures Through History

After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue our visit to Warsaw along the famous Royal Route, passing through Ujazdowskie Avenue, Nowy Świat, and Krakowskie Przedmieście, areas filled with churches, monuments, palaces, and historic buildings that today house government ministries and embassies.

We will once again visit Łazienki Park, this time admiring the Palace on the Isle and the Chopin Monument.

We will then continue to Wilanów Palace, located on the outskirts of Warsaw and renowned for its important collection of Polish portraits from the 16th to the 19th centuries, as well as its gardens designed in several styles, including Italian Baroque, English, and Chinese-inspired landscaping.

At the end of the visit, we will have free time for shopping, enjoying the city, or spending some personal time in prayer.

Dinner and overnight in Warsaw.

Spiritually, this day invites us to recognize that God also speaks through history, beauty, and the memory of nations. Warsaw, rebuilt after profound wounds, reminds us that it is always possible to rise again when there is faith, hope, and purpose.

It will be a day to give thanks for God’s faithfulness in our own story and ask Him to restore whatever needs to come back to life within our hearts.

DAY 5 · MONDAY, APRIL 19, 2027

WARSAW – CZESTOCHOWA – KRAKOW

Under the Gaze of the Black Madonna

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Czestochowa, one of Poland’s most important pilgrimage destinations and the spiritual heart of the Catholic faith in the country.

We will visit the Jasna Góra Shrine, entrusted to the Pauline Fathers and home to the revered image of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa, before whom millions of pilgrims come seeking protection, strength, and consolation.

During our visit, we will discover the shrine’s most representative areas and museums featuring collections of religious art and votive offerings. Holy Mass will be celebrated in one of the shrine’s chapels, subject to availability.

Afterward, we will continue our journey to Krakow.

Arrival at the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight accommodation.

Spiritually, this will be a deeply Marian day. Arriving at Jasna Góra means placing ourselves under the gaze of a Mother who knows our struggles, sorrows, and hopes.

Before the Black Madonna, we will entrust our families, projects, weariness, and inner battles to Mary, confident that she always leads us to Jesus.

It will be a day to remember that no pilgrim walks alone when accompanied by the Mother of God.

DAY 6 · TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 2027

KRAKOW – AUSCHWITZ – KRAKOW

Memory, Suffering and Mercy

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Auschwitz-Birkenau, a place of profound historical remembrance where millions of people suffered the consequences of hatred, war, and the loss of human dignity.

This visit will be a time of respect, silence, and reflection, especially as we remember the testimony of so many martyrs, including St. Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life out of love.

At the end of our visit, we will return to Krakow, where we will celebrate Holy Mass at the Church on the Rock, dedicated to St. Stanislaus.

We will then enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, including Wawel Hill, with entrance to Krakow Cathedral; Kanonicza Street, with a stop at the Deanery, where Pope St. John Paul II once lived; the Main Market Square, considered one of the largest medieval squares in Europe; the Cloth Hall; and St. Mary’s Basilica, also known as Mariacki Church, featuring the altar by Veit Stoss and the traditional Hejnal trumpet call.

Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.

Spiritually, this day confronts us with a profound truth: even in places where humanity has experienced its greatest darkness, God can bring forth light through love, forgiveness, and self-giving.

Auschwitz will invite us to pray for peace, for the victims of violence, and for our own wounds. In Krakow, a land so closely connected with St. John Paul II, we will lift our eyes again and remember that mercy does not deny suffering, but it has the power to transform it.

DAY 7 · WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21, 2027

KRAKOW – WIELICZKA – ZAKOPANE – KRAKOW

Creation Also Speaks of God

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Wieliczka to visit its historic Salt Mine, excavated for more than 700 years and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This remarkable place, rich in history, art, and spirituality, will remind us that even in the depths of the earth, humanity has sought to leave a legacy of faith and beauty.

We will then continue to Zakopane, one of Poland’s best-known mountain destinations, where we will enjoy a walk along Krupówki, its main avenue.

We will also visit the neo-Romanesque wooden church located beside the historic cemetery, the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, and the Jaszczurówka Chapel.

Holy Mass will be celebrated, subject to availability.

Return to Krakow. Dinner and overnight accommodation.

Spiritually, this day invites us to contemplate God in creation, in the mountains, in silence, and in the simple beauty of places that speak to the soul.

In Wieliczka, we will discover how faith can also be carved deep within the earth; and in Zakopane, under the gaze of Our Lady of Fatima, we will entrust our intentions for peace, conversion, and the healing of our families.

DAY 8 · THURSDAY, APRIL 22, 2027

KRAKOW – KALWARIA ZEBRZYDOWSKA – WADOWICE – LAGIEWNIKI – KRAKOW

St. John Paul II and the Fountain of Divine Mercy

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, one of Poland’s most visited pilgrimage shrines, renowned for its spiritual, Marian, and architectural significance.

We will continue to Wadowice, birthplace of St. John Paul II, where we will visit the parish church in which Karol Wojtyła was baptized, connecting us with the beginnings of the life of one of the most beloved saints of our time.

We will then arrive at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki, deeply connected with the life and mission of St. Faustina Kowalska.

There we will celebrate Holy Mass and have time for prayer and personal devotion.

Return to Krakow. Dinner and overnight accommodation.

Spiritually, this will be one of the most important days of our Fountain of Divine Mercy Pilgrimage.

In Wadowice, we will remember St. John Paul II’s call not to be afraid and to open wide the doors to Christ.

In Lagiewniki, before the Merciful Jesus, each pilgrim will be able to entrust their wounds, burdens, intentions, and thanksgiving, repeating from the depths of the heart:

Jesus, I trust in You.

DAY 9 · FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 2027

KRAKOW / WARSAW – FRANKFURT

From the Land of Mercy to Germany

After breakfast at the hotel, at the scheduled time we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Frankfurt, Germany.

The Warsaw – Frankfurt flight departs at 9:40 a.m. and arrives at 11:30 a.m., with an approximate flight time of 1 hour and 50 minutes. This is a direct, non-stop flight.

Each pilgrim should have their valid passport, boarding pass, international travel medical assistance documentation, and comply with the baggage conditions applicable to the internal flight.

Upon arrival in Frankfurt, we will receive airport assistance and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will enjoy a guided tour of Frankfurt’s historic center, including St. Paul’s Church – Paulskirche, an important landmark in Germany’s democratic and constitutional history.

Dinner and overnight in Frankfurt.

Spiritually, this day marks our transition from Poland, the land of Mercy, to Germany, where our journey of faith continues.

We leave behind places deeply connected to St. John Paul II and St. Faustina, carrying in our hearts one certainty: mercy received at a shrine is not meant to remain there; it becomes life, mission, and testimony.

It will be a day to give thanks for everything experienced in Poland and to open ourselves to a new stage of our pilgrimage under God’s guidance.

DAY 10 · SATURDAY, APRIL 24, 2027

FRANKFURT – RHINE RIVER CRUISE – KOBLENZ – VALLENDAR

Journey to Schoenstatt, Under Mary’s Loving Gaze

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for St. Goar, where we will board a scenic Rhine River cruise, sailing through one of Germany’s most beautiful regions, surrounded by spectacular landscapes, historic castles, and the famous Loreley Rock.

We will disembark in Boppard and continue to Koblenz, where we will have free time for lunch.

Later, we will enjoy a guided tour featuring some of the city’s highlights, including the Church of Our Lady, Deutsches Eck, the Basilica of St. Castor, Jesuitenplatz, and the Four Towers.

We will then continue to Vallendar, home to Schoenstatt, an international Marian pilgrimage shrine and a place of profound spirituality.

Dinner and overnight in Vallendar, at a Schoenstatt religious guesthouse or similar.

Spiritually, this day prepares us to enter a new stage of our pilgrimage. After drinking from the fountain of mercy in Poland, we arrive at a place where Mary invites us to renew our trust, surrender, and covenant of love with God.

Our journey along the Rhine will remind us that life itself is also a journey: sometimes peaceful, sometimes deep, but always guided by the hand of the Lord.

DAY 11 · SUNDAY, APRIL 25, 2027

SCHOENSTATT SHRINE

A Covenant of Love with Mary

After breakfast, we will dedicate this day to the Schoenstatt Shrine, an international Marian pilgrimage destination and a privileged place for prayer, meditation, and a personal encounter with God.

We will visit the Original Shrine and have time for religious activities, moments of prayer, museum visits, and participation in the Eucharist, all within a peaceful natural setting that invites inner silence and spiritual renewal.

Dinner and overnight in Vallendar.

Spiritually, this day will be an invitation to renew our covenant of love with Mary.

After journeying through the land of Mercy, we arrive in Schoenstatt to ask the Blessed Mother to form our hearts, strengthen our faith, and help us live with greater trust, surrender, and purpose.

It will be a day to entrust our projects, families, wounds, and decisions to Mary, allowing her to lead us to Jesus.

DAY 12 · MONDAY, APRIL 26, 2027

VALLENDAR – GYMNICH – COLOGNE

From the Roots of Schoenstatt to the Three Wise Men

After breakfast, we will depart for Gymnich, birthplace of Father Joseph Kentenich, founder of the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement.

There we will visit his birthplace and the Church of St. Cunibert, where he was baptized, recalling the beginnings of a life that would later bear fruit in a great Marian work within the Church.

We will continue to Cologne, a city of great historical, cultural, and religious importance in Germany.

Upon arrival, we will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a guided city tour highlighting its magnificent Gothic Cathedral, the largest in the country, visible from many points throughout the city and one of the few major buildings to survive the bombings of World War II.

The Cathedral is renowned for its impressive twin towers and for housing the reliquary of the Three Wise Men, making it one of Germany’s major Christian pilgrimage destinations.

At the end of the visit, transfer to the hotel.

Dinner and overnight in Cologne.

Spiritually, this day invites us to contemplate how God can bring great missions forth from simple beginnings.

In Gymnich, we will remember that every vocation begins within a real story, a family, a land, and a first “yes.”

In Cologne, in the presence of the Three Wise Men, we will renew the spirit of the true pilgrim: to seek Christ, journey toward Him, and offer Him the very best of our hearts.

It will be a day to ask for the grace to recognize our own mission and respond with faith, humility, and generosity.

DAY 13 · TUESDAY, APRIL 27, 2027

COLOGNE – AACHEN – TRIER

Faith, History and the Christian Roots of Europe

After breakfast, we will depart for Aachen, a city of great historical and religious importance.

Upon arrival, we will have time to visit Aachen Cathedral, a major pilgrimage center and the first German cathedral to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978.

It was also the coronation site of Charlemagne, a key figure in the Christian history of Europe.

We will have free time for lunch before continuing to Trier, founded under the name Augusta Treverorum before the birth of Christ and regarded as the oldest city in Germany.

The city preserves important archaeological remains from the Roman era, including the impressive Porta Nigra, as well as ancient religious buildings and monuments that reflect the rich history and faith of this region.

Dinner and overnight in Trier.

Spiritually, this day invites us to contemplate the deep roots of our faith.

In Aachen, we will remember how Europe’s history was also shaped by the search for God, the construction of sacred places, and the desire to preserve the faith for future generations.

In Trier, surrounded by Roman remains and sacred spaces, we will contemplate a Church that has journeyed through the centuries, sustaining hope even amid a changing world.

It will be a day to ask the Lord for a strong faith, deep roots, and a heart always ready to continue the pilgrimage.

DAY 14 · WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28, 2027

TRIER – HEIDELBERG

The Holy Tunic and the Living Memory of Christ

After breakfast, we will enjoy a guided tour of Trier, a city of exceptional historical, archaeological, and spiritual significance.

Among the sites visited will be St. Peter’s Cathedral, consecrated in 326 AD and considered the oldest church in Germany.

The Cathedral houses the Holy Tunic of Christ, an important Christian relic that attracts numerous pilgrims and invites us to contemplate more deeply the mystery of the Passion of Our Lord.

At the end of the visit, we will depart for Heidelberg, with a stop en route for lunch.

Before arrival, we will visit Speyer Cathedral – Speyerer Dom, one of the largest Romanesque churches in Europe and a historic imperial burial site.

We will then continue to Heidelberg.

Arrival, dinner and overnight accommodation.

Spiritually, this day invites us to contemplate Christ through the memory of His self-giving.

The Holy Tunic reminds us that Jesus took upon Himself our humanity, our suffering, and our history in order to clothe us in mercy.

At Speyer Cathedral, with its grandeur and centuries-old tradition, we will recognize how faith has been preserved through generations.

It will be a day to ask the Lord to clothe us with humility, strength, and trust, allowing His love to heal whatever still weighs upon our hearts.

DAY 15 · THURSDAY, APRIL 29, 2027

HEIDELBERG – ROTHENBURG – HEIDELBERG

Beauty, Contemplation and Gratitude for the Journey

After breakfast, we will explore Heidelberg, home to Germany’s oldest university and beautifully located along the banks of the Neckar River.

We will enjoy a guided panoramic tour of this romantic city, with its well-preserved historic center dominated by the presence of Heidelberg Castle, one of its most iconic landmarks.

We will then depart for Rothenburg, where we will have free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visit this beautiful medieval town, renowned for its historic charm and St. James’ Church – St. Jakob, famous for its magnificent wooden altar created by Tilman Riemenschneider.

At the end of the visit, return to Heidelberg.

Dinner and overnight accommodation.

Spiritually, this day invites us to bring our pilgrimage to a close with a heart full of gratitude.

After walking through shrines, places of remembrance, historic cities, and spaces deeply marked by faith, Heidelberg and Rothenburg will offer us time to contemplate beauty, recognize everything we have experienced, and give thanks for every grace received.

It will be an opportunity to look back on the journey and ask ourselves what God is calling us to take home: a decision, healing, an answer, renewed trust, or a renewed mission.

DAY 16 · FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 2027

HEIDELBERG – FRANKFURT – BOGOTÁ

Returning Home with Renewed Hearts

After breakfast, at the scheduled time we will depart from Heidelberg for Frankfurt Airport to board our international flight back to Colombia.

This will mark the conclusion of our Fountain of Divine Mercy Pilgrimage, after having journeyed through holy places, Marian shrines, historic cities, and destinations deeply marked by faith, remembrance, self-giving, and trust in God.

We will board our Frankfurt – Bogotá flight, departing at 2:45 p.m. and arriving in Bogotá at 6:55 p.m.

The approximate flight duration is 11 hours and 10 minutes, and the flight is direct and non-stop.

Spiritually, this day invites us to return home carrying not only memories, but also a renewed mission.

We return after contemplating the witness of St. John Paul II, St. Faustina, St. Maximilian Kolbe, the maternal presence of Mary in Czestochowa and Schoenstatt, and the living memory of Christ in so many sacred places.

May every pilgrim return with a strengthened soul, a more trusting heart, and the certainty that God’s mercy is always waiting for us, healing us, and inviting us to begin again.
