Day 2 | Wed 23 Dec: Muscat by Night Tour

After leisure time at 2:30 pm, meet your guide start the afternoon to explore the capital city of Muscat and have a stop at Al Alam Palace a 200 years old sultan’s palace where to delegate his diplomatically important guests, which is surrounded by two Portuguese Forts, called Al Jalali and Al Mirani you can have a walk up to the back side to the forts. Then you will go for a fascinating sunset Dhow Cruise to view part of the city via the sea, then you will pay a visit to Souq Muttrah, Muttrah Market, which is one of the oldest markets in Oman about 220 years old. Inside the market, you meet lots of traders selling souvenirs, traditional textiles, incense, frankincense, jewelry of silver and gold, etc. After that you will be attending an Omani dinner.

Day 3 | Thu 24 Dec: Muscat City – Local Farm Experience – Christmas Event.

After breakfast 8:00 a.m. meet your guide, you will visit the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque which is considered as one of the largest and most charming mosques in world. Then you will visit a spectacular Royal Opera House a symbol of Oman’s cultural refinement, known for its elegant architecture and world-class performances. (Tours are just available if there is no rehearsal on stage). After that you will go for educational/cultural activity you will visit a local farm for the Fresh Harvests, collect some seasonal vegetables for a knowledge agricultural activity. It will allow you to include the harvests to be part of the ingredients of your lunch. Then you will Join one of the local families to experience the authentic Omani cuisine and its testy food, at your choice you can have an opportunity join cocking some of the local dishes. Then you will visit Amouage Perfumes Factory, is a luxurious perfume manufacturing facility where Oman’s iconic fragrance brand crafts its world-renowned scents. After that head back to the hotel at your leisure, at your choice you can request the Christmas event for a joyful night festive.

After your breakfast, checkout the hotel meet your guide at 08:00 a.m. start the trip with 4x4 drive toward Barka, Barka Fish Market is a lively coastal hub where fishermen bring in the day’s fresh catch straight from the Arabian Sea.

Then, continue the journey to Nakhal, where you will visit the stunning Nakhal Fort standing in top of a mountain which is pre-Islamic history. Then driving alongside through the village and farms until the end of the road you can stop to experience a hot spring of Ain Al Thawara.

Leave Nakhal and move on to Wadi Bani Auf, start off-road adventurous drive crossing the Wadi Bani Auf for almost 3 hours, through a spectacular unpaved mountains road, where you will be able to see many small villages and the snake gorge, you can have a photo stop at a beautiful hidden village of Bilad Sayt, surrounded by stunning mountains the famous range of Al Hajar Mountains.

After lunch, continue to drive until the end of 2,000 meters high where you will overview the entire spectacular panoramic ranges of Al Hajar Mountains, keep driving to reach Al Hamra.

Dinner and overnight at The View.

After your breakfast 8:30 a.m. meet your guide to visit Bait Al Safa House in Al Hamra region. Bait Al Safa a 400 years old house which has the potential to be a very interesting cultural elements it is like an old family museum attracting visitors to see the old way of Omani living.

Then you will drive to Bahla Region, you will have a pottery activity experience at one of the oldest family’s workshops since around 500 years ago, Bahla famous for its ancient pottery craft. After that you will visit Jibreen Castle one of the most beautiful attractive a 17th century castle built by Imam Bel’arab bin Sultan Al Yarubi, the Imam’s tomb still located in the castle. The castle served both a defensive stronghold and a center of knowledge. Jibreen Castle stands as a timeless reminder of the region’s artistry, wisdom, and enduring history.

After lunch, visit Oman Across Ages Museum, the museum is cultural destination that beautifully showcases the nation’s rich history, heritage, and development.

Dinner and overnight in dusitD2 Jabal Akhdar

Day 6 | Sun 27 Dec: Full day Jabal Akhdar Experience

Jabal Akhdar its a breathtaking mountian with highland plateau of 2000 meters above sea level, known for its cool climate, terraced farms, and dramatic canyon views.

You will have an opportunity to explore four most traditional villages (Suwgra, Al Ain, Al Aqir, and Al Sherijah) each offering a glimpse into the region’s rich heritage.

After your breakfast at 10:00 a.m. meet your guide drive to visit The Suwgra, a 500 years cliffside village offers breathtaking views of deep wadis and rugged peaks. Once home to a small farming community, now it became a staying place for tourists. Al Ain, is celebrated for its lush gardens and thriving pomegranate, walnut, and rose farms. Al Aqir, quieter and more secluded, is surrounded by ancient falaj water channels. Al Sherijah, the largest, showcases old stone houses and winding pathways that reflect the mountain’s architectural legacy. After lunch back to the hotel time at your leisure.

Dinner and overnight in dusitD2 Jabal Akhdar

After your breakfast 08:00 a.m. depart from Jabal Akhdar you will have a (photo stop) at a beautiful old village at the base of Jebel Akhdar, Barkat Al Mauz is known for its ancient mud-brick houses and lush date plantations and falaj irrigation system. Falaj Al Khatmain, one of Oman’s most impressive UNESCO-listed irrigation channels a traditional water engineering.

After that you will visit Nizwa Historical City, you will pay a visit to Nizwa Fort which was constructed in the 17th century with an exquisite architectural proficiency. Next to the fort, Nizwa Souq is one of the oldest markets in the country. It’s famous for its traditional silver jewelry, pottery, spices, and fresh local produce.

After lunch, you will drive to Ibra and have a photo stop at Al Minzfah village, village of small houses which are made up of clay and stones.

Continuing to Al Sharqiyah Desert Sands- called Wahiba Sands to explore the desert and experience the adventurous through the golden dunes by 4x4 and watch most amazing sunset moment including a fantastic Arabian desert night experience.

Dinner and overnight in Thousand Nights Camp

After your delicious breakfast, 08:00 a.m. meet your guide then you will depart from desert to visit one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman, Wadi Bani Khalid, you will spend sometimes and refresh yourself by the natural pools.

Then head towards Sur, famous town known for ancient trade in Oman. You will visit Sur Dhow Factory, where master craftsmen still build traditional wooden dhow by hand.

Moving on to Ras Al Had you will pass through the Al Ayjah bridge and Lighthouse which adds charm to the coastal view. Ras Al Had, it’s a famous place has one of largest reserve around the world for the green turtle nesting spot, at night after dinner you will have an opportunity to witness turtles laying eggs under the moonlight.

After your breakfast 8:00 a.m. meet your guide to drive and explore Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Tiwi is a stunning emerald valley known for its nine villages and dramatic cliffs, lush plantations, and crystal-clear natural pools. It’s an adventure through the mountains, small villages and farms to reach to the swimming spot (Medium Swimming Adventure). you will enjoy walking through the natural beauty of green valley of the Wadi.

After lunch you will have a photo stop at Bimma Sinkhole also known as Hawiyyat Najm (Turquoise colors water filled depression in a sinkhole structure). Then drive back to Muscat.

Overnight in Ramada Encore

Day 10 | Thu 31 Dec: Departure

After amazing days spent in The Sultanate of Oman it’s time for departure our chauffeur will drop you at Muscat International Airport to meet your next flight.
