Dia 1: Parador de Gijón
Começamos a viagem em Gijón, histórica, comercial, industrial, onde o mar, as montanhas suaves e a cidade se combinam, tornando-a uma das cidades mais atraentes do norte da Espanha. Dia 2: Parador de Ribadeo
Seguindo a costa ao longo da rota jacobiana do Camino del Note, chegamos a Ribadeo, uma cidade piscatória em Lugo, na fronteira entre a Galiza e as Astúrias. No final do percurso, o Parador Ribade, um palacete galego na foz do rio Eo, dá-nos o descanso necessário para ficarmos a conhecer locais de grande beleza e várias praias, destacando-se entre elas a Playa de las Catedrales, uma das mais espetaculares do mundo pelo seu conjunto de falésias com mais de 32 metros de altura que, esculpidas pelo vento e pelo mar, formam arcos e abóbadas, declaradas Monumento Natural, e a Ría de Ribadeo, incluída na Reserva da Biosfera do Rio Eo, Oscos e Tierras de Burón, uma enseada natural de grande importância ecológica e ambiental, e também palco de todo o tipo de atividades náuticas e desportivas. Também é aconselhável visitar o Forte de San Damián, Puente Do Santos ou a cidade vizinha de Castropol. Aqui pode deliciar o seu paladar com as grandes criações e produtos do norte com pratos típicos da cozinha tradicional galega como marisco, empanada, fiambre, arroz de brodo com lagosta cantábrica, pescada de Puerto Celeiro ou o seu delicioso lombo de vaca em aleitamento com molho de queijo de Cebreiro.
Dia 3: Parador de Ferrol
Sem sair da costa, chegamos a Ferrol, um dos recantos mais desconhecidos da Galiza. Uma cidade marítima, naval e militar, no seu emblemático bairro de La Magdalena, o centro nevrálgico, encontraremos a Câmara Municipal e outros importantes edifícios modernistas, e onde o Parador espera por si, uma mansão imponente com um ar marítimo. O hotel é uma típica mansão galega com galerias de vidro branco, rodeada por um belo ambiente marítimo. Um bom plano é dar um passeio pelo antigo distrito de pescadores, ao lado da marina, e parar para comer algumas tapas ou fazer um passeio de barco turístico ao longo do estuário. Se você gosta de história naval, o Castelo de San Felipe, as Fortalezas e, especialmente, o Arsenal. Construído no século XVIII sob os auspícios do Iluminismo, é um complexo de obras hidráulicas e edifícios únicos na Europa, incluindo o Museu Naval, um must-see e muito divertido. Recomenda-se um passeio pelas ruas do bairro do Canido, convertido num centro internacional de arte de rua graças à iniciativa de pintar meninas nas fachadas dos edifícios, com um festival que se realiza desde 2008 no primeiro fim de semana de setembro. Pouco mais de vinte minutos de carro, no município de Mugardos, você pode visitar outra bela fortaleza militar no estuário de Ferrol, o Castelo de La Palma. Aproveite para provar o seu famoso e peculiar polvo à la mugardesa. A região também é rica em elementos naturais, com inúmeras praias abertas para o Oceano Atlântico, capas espetaculares e miradouros naturais, e parques naturais como Fragas do Eume. Outras aldeias próximas que merecem uma visita são Cedeira, Ortigueira e Cariño ao norte, e Pontedeume e Betanzos ao sul. Imperdível é também a cidade da Corunha.
Dia 4: Parador de Baiona
Rumo à costa atlântica, Baiona espera-nos. De origem romana, em 1493 a caravela La Pinta chegou ao seu porto, tornando-se a primeira cidade da Europa a ter notícias da descoberta da América. Um evento que deu origem a uma enorme festa de época que se realiza anualmente no início de março. Nesta bela cidade costeira ao sul das Rías Baixas há muito para visitar, como a Igreja de Santa María, a icônica fortaleza de Monterreal onde o Parador está localizado, a travessia de Trinidad, uma esplêndida cidade velha, seus pazos e mansões brasonadas ou seu calçadão com uma marina de grande relevância. Os arredores da cidade também oferecem inúmeros lugares de grande beleza onde você pode desfrutar de pores-do-sol de sonho, como o Monte de A Groba, de onde as Rías Baixas parecem uma aquarela sóbria e colorida, o Cabo Sillero ou as Ilhas Cíes próximas, que convidam você a visitar suas falésias, praias e dunas. o seu fundo marinho e as suas estradas virgens.
